We are pleased to announce the following changes and enhancements to Kelley Benefits, effective June 1, 2022. Please read the entire announcement because certain changes impact all employees, even those not on the medical plan.
FOR EMPLOYEES ON THE MEDICAL PLAN:
- We will be lowering medical plan premiums this year. Our claims experience has been good, which has allowed for this exciting change!
New monthly premiums:
Current New
Emp Only 160.00 155.00
Family 713.00 613.00
Emp+Spouse 609.50 509.50
Emp+Child(ren) 483.00 383.00
Our medical plan structure (deductibles, out of pocket, etc) will remain unchanged.
- We will be adding “Teladoc” to our medical plan. Plan participants will be able to download an app onto their phone or computer that will allow access to 24-hour virtual doctor visits. This is ideal for easily diagnosed illnesses—flu, sinus infection, pink eye, rash, etc.—and is available after hours, so if your child wakes up at 3am with a fever, you can get advice immediately without an emergency room visit. Teladoc doctors can also call in prescriptions to local pharmacies. More info will follow in coming weeks about how to register for this convenient service.
- We are broadening the list of covered drugs on our prescription plan. Last year we narrowed our plan’s drug formulary list. We are pleased to announce that we will be removing this restriction, and our drug list will go back to TrueRX’s normal formulary list.
- You will be receiving a new medical card in the mail in the next few days. Laws have changed that now require medical cards to have the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum printed on the card. Your card will come from Unified Group Services, so be on the lookout. Please destroy your old cards as soon as you have the new ones.
FOR ALL FULL-TIME KELLEY EMPLOYEES:
- We are now offering FREE basic life/AD&D coverage of $15K to full-time employees. Traditionally, this benefit was reserved for those on our medical plan. We are expanding this coverage to all full-time employees
- All full-time employees can add medical coverage NOW to take advantage of the above changes. If you previously declined our medical coverage and wish to enroll or add dependents, the premium cost change is a qualifying event for you to do so for 6/1. However, any current coverage you have for your dependents through other sources may not be able to be dropped mid-year, so check with that carrier to ensure you can drop theirs before adding ours. If you do wish to change your medical enrollment 6/1, you need to contact Mary Lynn Hamrick by May 30th at mhamrick@kelleyauto.com. The email should state your intention and include the full name, DOB, and SSN of any dependents you wish to add.
We hope that these new benefit enhancements will be well received. If you have any questions, you may contact HR or any member of the Employee Benefit Committee:
