Kelley Automotive Group will be closed from Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
The 4th of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This document declared the original American colonies free from British control, and their own independent country. Over the course of seventeen days, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Livingston, and Sherman drafted the Declaration, and was afterwards signed by 56 men. Our country has since progressed the freedom and liberty that our founding fathers solidified 226 years ago. There are several celebratory events going on in our city on the 4th of July, including a firework display that will begin at 10:00pm at the Michigan Power Center, a run, white, and blue 5k at Foster Park Pavilion, beginning at 9am, and a Tincaps game in addition to stadium fireworks! We hope you enjoy the day and experience all that our city has to offer!
