Freedom Day is a federal holiday to celebrate the rights each person has to speak, think, and act freely throughout the world. We celebrate on November 9th to commemorate the abolishment of The Berlin Wall, which reunited families and communities that had been separated for nearly three decades. This became a uniting event that marked the importance of freedom among all nationalities.
