Arbor Day is this Friday and is a day of observance in which people are encouraged to plant trees in support of helping our environment. In support of this, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation has partnered with “Trees Indiana” and will offer over 150 seedings to the public with a simple phone registration. Four types of tree seedlings will be offered on a first come, first served basis, including Shumard Oak, Pecan, White Pine, and Norway Spruce.
