THIS IS THE LAST DAY FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT!!

If you are a full-time employee, you MUST complete your insurance enrollment by this Friday.

Your current coverage will automatically drop 12/31/2024 for the plans listed below if you do not take action!!! This year every full-time employee must do the enrollment and choose either enroll or waive on each of these plans and submit it by 11/8/2024.

Medical

Dental

Vision

HSA

FSA Medical

FSA Dependent Care

As soon as possible, please log into Paylocity at a PC and click the three lines in the upper left for the main menu. Choose “Benefits” and then “My Benefits”. You will see the “Action Required” “Open Enrollment”. Click the start button and the system will walk you through it. You must first enter the dependent information for anyone that you want to cover on the above plans. Please make sure you hit the “submit” button when you are finished.

Note, Spouses cannot be covered under our medical plan if they have an offer of coverage at their own job. If your spouse is covered on our medical and their job situation changes so that they get an offer of coverage at a new employer, you must notify me within 30 days of the job change to drop their medical coverage.

All changes must be submitted by 11/8/2024. If you have not acted and made changes by this date, it will be assumed that you do not want Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, or FSA for 2025. This decision will be locked at midnight on the 8th and will remain in place until 12/31/2025. These plans cannot be changed during the plan year unless you can prove a qualifying event as defined by the IRS. Qualifying events are birth, death, marriage, divorce, or change in spouse’s employment. You only have 30 days after a QE to act and request a change.

A reminder for HSA contributors over 65, or who are turning 65 in 2025: if you plan to enroll in Medicare Part A, you should stop your contributions to HSA. Contributions to a pre-tax HSA are penalized by the government if you do them simultaneously while enrolled in Part A. Kelley Automotive is not notified if/when you enroll in Part A and cannot offer tax advice, so consult your own tax professional if you have questions about when you should enroll in Medicare and how it affects your HSA. The FSA option for out-of-pocket medical expense reimbursement is available for those who are enrolling in Part A.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Your prompt attention to this is appreciated!
